• Food Distributions
  • Volunteers are needed to assist with packing monthly and quarterly food boxes at the Administrative Office in Clare.
  • Volunteers are also needed to assist with the food distributions located in each county. This includes registering participants, directing traffic, or loading boxes into vehicles. Assistance is also needed to deliver food to home-bound customers.
• Holiday Giving Program
  • Volunteers are needed to package and wrap holiday gifts and food boxes, and to distribute these items to home bound families.
• Office/Clerical
  • Volunteers are needed in each of the offices to assist with filing, answering phones, providing follow-up survey calls, and scheduling appointments. Offices are open daily 8:00am to 4:30pm except only until 4:00pm on Fridays.
• Walk for Warmth
  • Volunteers are needed to serve on Steering Committees, coordinate special events, gather donations, recruit walkers, collect pledges, and help on the day of the Walk in late February.
• County Council
  • Volunteers are needed to serve on the County Council that provides guidance and direction for county specific activities.
• Emergency Food Pantry
  • Volunteers are needed to help restock the food pantry shelves and to fill customer orders. The pantries are open daily in Clare, Harrison, and Gladwin.
• Tax Preparation
  • From January 15th through April 15th, volunteers are needed to assist customers with completing tax information. Training is provided if needed.
