Spotlight

Volunteers are vital to our Mid Michigan Community Action. We have included a list of volunteer opportunities that are typically available. If you would like to help please fill out the form below and we are certain we will find a way for you to make a difference.

Volunteer Opportunities Available

  • Warehouse/Food Packing

    Warehouse volunteers help prepare boxes of food that are distributed to those in need.

  • Office

    We are often in need of volunteers to help out around the office.

  • Early Childhood Services

    There are multiple ways to be involved with our Early Childhood Service programs. Please note that a DHS clearance is required, and a TB test may also be required.

  • Community Events

    We have numerous community events providing fun, education and resources to the community; and we always need volunteers.

  • Commodity Food Site

    Every month we have nearly 20 commodity food distributions all across mid-Michigan. We need volunteers to help with the registration table.

  • Walk for Warmth

    Walk for Warmth is our annual fundraiser held in all six of our counties. We are always in need of help getting the event ready.

I understand that as a volunteer involved with Mid Michigan Community Action (MMCAA) or being the parent or legal guardian of such a volunteer at MMCAA I discharge and acquit MMCAA, its staff, board, agents, representatives and affiliates of all actions, causes of actions, claims or any liabilities whatsoever. I understand that while volunteering at and/or for MMCAA that I participate on my own accord and will not hold MMCAA accountable for any injury or harm that may arise from such activities. I hereby grant MMCAA permission to use my likeness in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including website entries, for marketing purposes.
