A Partnership for Housing Hope

This Homeless Awareness Month, we’re celebrating Mike, a dedicated landlord who partners with us to provide safe, clean, and affordable housing, helping those experiencing housing insecurity transition to stability.

A Commitment to Community:
Mike’s partnership is invaluable—he provides well-maintained housing and helps connect tenants with resources to overcome challenges.

Why Mike Works With Us:
"I work with Mid Michigan Community Action because everyone needs a home. I try to provide safe, clean places to live and make a home. . . . I try to work with the whole person, not just the immediate circumstance."

A Message to the Community:
"Homelessness happens every day . . . often due to circumstances beyond control. Everyone needs a hand up, not a handout."

Mike’s compassion and dedication remind us all that creating safe and stable housing is a collective effort. Community participation is vital in ending homelessness!

If you’re a landlord interested in working with us, call or text 1-877-213-5955 or email [email protected] to learn more.

If you are facing housing challenges, reach out for support at 1-877-213-5955 or email [email protected]. Services are available for individuals, families, youth, and veterans across Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Mecosta, and Osceola Counties as well as veterans who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness in Lake, Newaygo, Midland, and Saginaw Counties.
