Community Awareness and Action

We don’t just provide services, we also work with partners, neighbors, and local leaders to shine a light on housing needs in our communities and share practical tools. Key ways we do this are through the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, Homeless Awareness Month, and our local rental directories that help connect people to housing options.
Point-in-Time (PIT) Count

Each year, our agency participates in the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, a one-night count of people experiencing homelessness in our communities.

The PIT Count helps to:
  • Show the need for housing and services in our region
  • Inform local planning and funding
  • Lift up the realities faced by people without stable housing

If you are looking for outreach materials or ways to support the PIT Count, you can visit our PIT Count Media Kit.
Find the Media Kit Here!
Homeless Awareness Month

Each November, we recognize Homeless Awareness Month by sharing information, stories, and ways for community members to get involved.

To explore activities, resources, and past campaigns, you can visit our Homeless Awareness Month page.

Rental Directories

Finding a safe, affordable place to live can be hard, especially when you don’t know where to start. Our rental directories list local rental properties in our service area to help individuals, families, and partners see what housing options may be available.

These directories are updated as we receive new information and are meant to be a starting point for housing searches. Availability can change quickly, so we always encourage calling properties directly to confirm current openings.
