Today, Victoria is thriving! She is just two semesters away from completing dual degrees in Mechatronics and Skilled Trades Electrical Programs at Delta College. Her hard work and dedication have earned her recognition on the Dean’s List, Vice President’s List, and now the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA! On top of her academic success, she works 45 hours a week, has completed her first internship, and is a candidate for a long-term co-op position.
Victoria’s achievements go beyond education and work. She has improved her credit, purchased a car, and discovered a passion for helping others through volunteer work. Looking ahead, she is on track to purchase her first home through the MSHDA Key to Own program in part from escrowing funds as part of the self-sufficiency program. "I am excited to see what else I can achieve before I graduate the FSS program and continue in the Key to Own program.
