About Processing Fees, Tips, and Offline Donations

When donating through Givebutter, our online donation platform, you may notice a processing fee and a tip option. Here’s what they mean:
  • Processing Fee: This fee helps cover the cost of securely processing your online payment. You can choose to include it or remove it by clicking “Edit” next to the amount.
  • Optional Tip: Givebutter offers free fundraising tools to nonprofits like ours. To support that, they ask for a voluntary tip. If you’d prefer not to tip, simply select “Other” from the drop-down and enter $0.

If you would rather not donate online, you are always welcome to mail a check to:

3rd Annual Clare Cares Drive

Now more than ever, many families in Clare County are struggling to meet basic needs. That's why local businesses in our community are coming together in a big way for the 3rd Annual Clare Cares Drive, hosted by North Central Insurance and the Jay’s and Webber Wildlife & Education Center!

Through a partnership with the Clare County Food Pantry, operated by Mid Michigan Community Action, your online donations will help ensure that local families facing food insecurity receive essential support and nourishment.

Your support will make a difference in the lives of so many in our community—from children to seniors—who rely on the pantry’s services for their daily needs. Every dollar raised will go directly to the pantry to help them purchase and distribute food and essential supplies to individuals and families facing hardship.

You can also donate non-perishable food and personal care items from December 3-12 at these locations:
  • North Central Insurance
  • Jay's & Webber Wildlife and Education Center
  • 505 Cafe
  • Clare Hardware
  • Timeout Tavern
  • Jim’s Body Shop
  • Johnston Elevator
