We were able to catch up with Lisa and talk a little about what she loves about working at the agency, and this is what she had to say: "Working for the agency for 15 years, I love that everyday is a new day and I get to make a difference in so many family's lives. Michigan Community Action conducts the Leadership Development Institute each year to hone the leadership skills of staff in the Community Action Network. Graduates of the program are trained in management, communications, human resources, strategic planning, advocacy, and leadership. We are immensely proud of the strides these ladies have made as they progressed through the program, and we are eager to see how they bring all they learned to our agency! |
