On April 16, fourteen of our Homeless Programs staff traveled to Lansing to participate in Homeless Advocacy Day, joining around 150 attendees from across the state.
The day was filled with powerful moments—hearing directly from people who have experienced homelessness and are now using their voices to advocate for change. Our staff met with legislators to share not only key talking points, but also real-life stories that helped build understanding and support for the work needed to end homelessness in Michigan. We’re proud to stand alongside partners and advocates working toward a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.
