Kathy, Retail Team Lead, is one of our October Featured Employees
Congratulations to one of our October featured employees, Kathy!

We asked Kathy what her favorite part of working at The Cat's Meow of Mid Michigan Community Action is, and this is what she had to say:

"What I like about working at the store is the camaraderie! I've been with the store for over ten years, and my favorite part of my job is my team."

As the retail team lead, Kathy is responsible for tasks like pricing, stocking, and managing the intake of merchandise.

Thank you for all of that hard work you put into the store! We are proud to have you as part of our team!

We'd like to extend a huge congratulations and thank you to our food warehouse and distribution staff who exceeded their distribution goal over the past fiscal year with 105% program participation!

These staff packaged and distributed 37,079 boxes—that's 1,186,528 pounds of food!

“I work really hard, but I know my hard work supports my neighbors and community. Knowing that my work helps others is what keeps me going!” –Jennifer, Food Commodities Manager

To all of our food program staff, thank you for the positive impact you make each day in our communities!

Lori: Congratulations for Your 5 Year Anniversary

Lori, part of our Early Head Start program
Lori, part of our Early Head Start program
Congratulations to Lori for 5 years with Mid Michigan Community Action!

Lori is part of our Early Head Start program, and we were able to talk with her about what she likes best about her job here:

"MMCAA is not just a job with coworkers—it's people that make you feel like family and support you one hundred percent. Knowing you are making a
difference in a child’s life is so rewarding and seeing the families succeed over the years has such a great impact on me. I have been here for 5 years, and I love every minute of doing my job knowing that I am making a difference every day."

Thank you, Lori, for all you do! We are proud to have you on our team.

Jan: Early Childhood Services Program Support Specialist

Jan, our Early Childhood Services Program Support Specialist
Congratulations to Jan, our Early Childhood Services Program Support Specialist, for 5 years with Mid Michigan Community Action!

We were able to speak with Jan about her favorite part of working at the agency, and this is what she had to say:

"There are two reasons I love working at Mid Michigan Community Action. The first is that the agency as a whole does so
much good for those in our communities who are in need. Most people don’t know the expanse of our services until they are in need. The second thing I love about working here is my co-workers. Everyone is so selfless and truly has a sense of working together for the greater good of the families, individuals, and children that we work with."

Thank you for all that you do each day. We are proud to have you on our team!
