The Leadership Development Institute is designed for Community Action staff who wish to strengthen their leadership skills. Over approximately nine months, emerging Community Action Agency leaders from across the state proceed through the training program as a cohort or class. The program includes seven full in-person instruction days with a facilitator as well as teleconferences. Topics span from communication to change management with the goal of increasing participants leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
